THE WORKDAY CAFE
Over the next year, I am challenging myself to evaluate every company on the S&P 500 Index. Throughout this project I hope to discover insights and oddities into what experts believe is a benchmark of the market. I will be posting my findings on here and talk about the project on the podcast.
The Podcast is an outlet to explain my rationale and findings throughout this project. It also will be a way for like-minded analysts to find the project in order to learn together.
The Discounted Cash Flows (DCF) are a personal and thorough analysis of the companies that make of the S&P 500. This form of evaluation uses historical data and modelling to predict whether to buy, sell or hold a specific stock.
The Relative Valuations (RV) looks at comparable companies, whether that be industry or financially competitive, and predicts a stock value. The main aspects of RV's that will be used are multiples/ratios.
The evaluations are the bread and butter of the project. Through intense research and analysis I hope to determine critical aspects of the economy and learn more along the way.
